The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning with Technology is the 2005 conference theme. Please consider the following. How close are we to reaching the promise of technology to improve learning? Has access to education increased? Has our use of technology in teaching and learning moved past mirroring traditional instructional practice? Do professional scholarship activities take advantage of digital resources? How can we know the answers to these kinds of questions? Proposals are invited in the following topic areas:
We actively solicit proposals from UNC administrators, staff, librarians, and faculty who would like to share their knowledge and expertise with colleagues. Proposals about UNC collaborative work, including projects that involve educational, non-profit, commercial, or government organizations from outside UNC, are encouraged, as are submissions on TLT-related topics in addition to the ones listed above. Session types include formal presentation, panel discussion, roundtable discussion, poster, workshop, or demonstration.
