The 2006 UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference will be held at the Hilton North Raleigh on March 15-17, 2006. Vision, Leadership, and Collaboration is the 2006 conference theme.
This annual conference, held since 2000, provides professional development for UNC personnel who are interested in the effective use of technology for teaching and learning (TLT). The term TLT means teaching methods and learning environments that incorporate computer-based technologies. TLT can take place in traditional classrooms or online.
The conference emphasizes timely topics of particular interest to UNC campuses from effective current practices to emerging technologies. Previous conferences have featured:
- instructional resources, approaches, and outcomes
- technological, pedagogical, library, and administrative policies and support issues
- collaborative efforts to accomplish TLT initiatives
- assessment, evaluation, and critical analyses to increase understanding of TLT practices
Conference presentations will be given by UNC faculty, librarians, staff, and administrators on a range of TLT issues. Conference participants include professionals from academic departments, libraries, teaching and learning centers, instructional design, distance education, instructional technology, faculty development, academic computing, and more!
As the 2006 conference develops, we will continue to add new information to this website. Registration will be available beginning in January 2006:
- Full conference: $125 ($195 non-UNC)
- Any one day: $70 ($110 non-UNC)
In the meantime, please feel free to contact us with questions. |
