Dave Dickey is professor of statistics at North Carolina State University. He received a PhD from Iowa State University in 1976 where he received the Snedecor Award for outstanding PhD student. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and member of the Academy of Outstanding Teachers at NCSU. His research in time series resulted in the "Dickey-Fuller test" for stationarity. At NCSU he teaches applied graduate level statistics including data mining.
