Thank you for agreeing to participate as a presenter in the 2007 UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference. We are looking forward to an exceptional conference, and we appreciate your contribution of knowledge and expertise.
The online program, where you will be able to see the day, time, and room assigned to your session(s) will be available in late January . Travel grant recipients will be notified in March.

Check Your Personal Details
By Monday, January 22, please check that the details of your personal profile are correct, as much of this information will be published in the printed program and/or online.
Check Your Session Details
By Monday, January 22, please check that the following elements of your session(s) are up to date:
- Title
- Abstract
- Audio/Visual Requirements
- Additional Comments
- Presenter Information

Notes:
- When proposals are submitted, the web site automatically truncates presentation titles and abstracts that exceed the maximum allowable length (120 characters for the title, and 150 words for the abstract). If the text in either of these fields has been cut off, please make appropriate adjustments.
- As noted on the proposal page, the following audio/visual equipment will be available in the presentation rooms: Internet access, computer with Windows XP Professional/Office XP, video/data projector with screen, and microphone. If you did not do so at the time of proposal submission, please let us know whether you plan to attach your own computer rather than using the one provided, and request any additional AV resources that you will need.

Sign the Authorization Form
- Record your presentation.
- Publish your presentation and associated materials on the conference web site.
Note:
- Signatures of all presenters, or of their proxies, must appear on the form. For example, a single presenter can sign on behalf of each of the other co-presenters, if necessary.
Completed forms should be faxed to Kim Dicso of YCC (Your Conference Connection) at 910-815-4189. If you are unable to download the form, or you have questions about it, you can contact Kim at 910-452-0006 or kim@teamycc.com.
Register for the Conference
By Monday, February 19, please register for the conference. All presenters AND co-presenters who will attend the conference must register and pay the appropriate registration fees.
Registration fee information and our cancellation policy are available in the Registration area of this web site. Questions about registration may be directed to tltconf@northcarolina.edu.
Reserve a Hotel Room, If Needed
By Sunday, February 25, please reserve a hotel room if you will need one (follow the link to view hotel cost information). You may also wish to review the Conference Location page, which includes driving directions.
Plan Your Session
The Preparing to Present page is designed to assist all presenters with session planning issues. Special sections are provided for workshop and poster presenters.
Submit Your Presentation
If you would like us to load your presentations slides on the computer prior to the conference, please e-mail your presentation to Kim Dicso at kim@teamycc.com by Monday, March 12.
If you are not bringing your own computer we will be happy to load your slides on the presentation computer on-site. Simply copy your slides on a memory stick or CD, and be sure to clearly label it with your name and the title of your presentation. When you check in at the registration desk, give your memory stick or CD to the registration personnel.
We will load your slides on the appropriate computer before your presentation time. You may pick up your CD or memory stick at the registration desk afterward.

Post Your Session Materials on the Conference Web Site
TLT Conference participants look forward to finding presentation materials on the conference web site. Please upload your slides and supporting documents to the Web site prior to the conference by clicking Upload My Presentation Materials.Session materials might include:
- Your presentation.
- Handouts and white papers.
- Web links.
If you are not able to do this, we will upload your slides during the conference from your memory stick or CD.
Submit Content for the Conference Proceedings
Presenters are requested to submit materials that provide a concise and accurate representation of the conference session and are formatted to meet the certain requirements necessary for publishing proceedings. The guidelines and style sheet will soon be provided online as reference for submitters.
