She currently coordinates the undergraduate and alternative licensure educational technology programs for the College of Education. Ms. Fine will be receiving her Ed D in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC Chapel Hill in 2006.

Nancy''''''''''''''''s interest in teaching has resulted in over 25 years of teaching experience in higher education, health and government settings. With a Masters Degree in nursing she has directed state and local projects on behalf of infants and toddlers with special needs.
This experience led her to her doctoral studies in Training and Development in the Department of Adult and Higher Education at NCSU. Her dissertation focus is culturally responsive adult online learning. She believes that online learning provides adults the potential for learning with colleagues from many backgrounds and places.
Nancy is currently a research assistant at the NCSU Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning and coordinates the Certificate of Accomplishment in Teaching for graduate teaching assistants at NCSU. In addition, she is planning and conducting online workshops for this population.

Jennifer Forrester is a second year doctoral student at NC State University in Science
Education. She has a BS in Biology and an M.A.T. in Science Education
(Middle and Secondary Education). She taught for five years (3 middle
school science, 1 high school science, and 1 freshman chemistry.) before
beginning her graduate studies at NCSU. She has published in academic
journals on science and mathematics education. She has a book from NCSTA
press coming out in spring 2008. Her dissertation topic is science
olympiad and its influence on academic major and career choice.
