Completed training with a USDA postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Worked as a Research Scientist with NASA at Kennedy Space Center. Currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at NCA&T. Particularly interested in exploring ways to translate scientific research into meaningful experiences for students.

Patricia graduated from UNC Greensboro as a NC Teaching Fellow. She pursued her interests in technology and education while working as a classroom teacher and then a computer resource teacher in a middle school for the past 11 years. She graduated in December 2005 earning a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology from UNCW. In May 2006, Patricia began providing Faculty Instructional Support in the Information Technology Systems Division at UNCW. In July 2006, Patricia received her WebCT Training Certification.
