Hilarie is leading the TLTC''s Course Redesign Initiative. She also serves as UNC''s project director for MERLOT, an international cooperative for online instructional resources. Before joining the TLTC, Hilarie was a faculty member in the industrial design program at Arizona State University. She previously chaired a program at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh that granted associates degrees in computer graphics and visualization. Hilarie is especially interested in effective teaching, emerging technologies, virtual worlds, and serious games.
