General Conference Information

The 2010 Conference will be hosted in Second Life (SL). We offer training and support opportunities for participants and presenters.

To participate, you will need to get a free account and download the system onto your computer (see the “Get Started” link below for more details). Next, please choose one of our orientations to help get you comfortable with SL, learn where the conference area and important session information are located, meet some of our support staff, and join our in-world group for conference communications. Even if you are an experienced user, you will find these sessions helpful, as they contain conference-specific information. Please take some time to get acquainted with SL, this will help you feel more comfortable with the technology, cause fewer interruptions during the presentations and ensure that your computer has what it takes to connect to conference activities.
