Claudia Kimbrough has over 20 years teaching experience at NC State. She is an Alumni Distinguished Professor award winner who teaches marketing research, marketing communications and social media courses. She has also taught a web delivered distance ed. marketing course since 1997. In addition, she is the lead developer and manager of the NC State College of Management presence in Second Life.

Dr. Steve Knode obtained his PhD at Syracuse University in the area of Operations Research Management with an MS in Industrial Management from the University of North Dakota as well as BS in Mathematics from Duke University. He has an extensive background in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, emerging technologies, intelligent agents, virtual reality, decision support systems, quantitative methods and decision-making. He maintains a website,www.steveknode.com where he tracks emerging technologies and publishes a monthly newsletter on Emerging Information Technology applications.
